Title II Program Overview

The Title II Program provides professional development funding to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to enhance teacher and principal quality, ultimately improving student achievement. These funds support the implementation of research-based, data-driven professional development that equips educators with the knowledge and strategies needed to foster student success.

Purpose of Title II Funds

Title II funds aim to:

  • Increase student academic achievement by enhancing teacher and principal effectiveness.

LEAs use Title II funding to:
