Our office provides support to the district in the following ways:

Our primary purpose in special services is to provide an appropriate education to students with special needs or disabling conditions that require support and services to access their education. Humboldt Unified School District (HUSD) promotes inclusive practices across the district to ensure students with disabilities have access to the general curriculum in the least restrictive environment. Our district offers a full continuum of Special Education Services. We value our partnerships with parents, students, and community stakeholders, and welcome your meaningful, insightful input. Our goal is to provide you with answers and resources to help make your experience with your child a positive one.
