- Ethical decision-making and leadership
Program Goals
Provide learning experiences that are responsive to the cognitive, creative, and affective development of gifted students by:

- Designing programs to achieve specific student outcomes
Gifted Assessments
The Humboldt Unified School District (HUSD) provides gifted testing opportunities three times a year, as mandated by the Arizona Department of Education.
Abilities measures are essential for identifying students who may be gifted. These assessments are designed to be administered only once per calendar year. For example, if your student tested in the fall of the previous school year, they will be eligible to test again in or after the fall of the following year.
HUSD Gifted Testing Schedule:
- Fall: Grades 1, 3–8
- Winter: All second graders (district-wide testing)
- Spring: Grades K–1, 3–7
