Tops shall be any solid color with or without a collar.    Graphics, writing, stripes, rhinestones, glitter, decorative patches, or paint are not allowed, except our school logo. No exposed midsections, spaghetti straps, tank tops, or undergarments.   When layering shirts, both shirts need to be a solid color. Zippered sweatshirts that are any solid color may be worn in the classroom.
 
Bottoms shall be solid tan, navy, black, or blue jean. Bottoms shall not be decorated with rhinestones, glitter, decorative patches, or paint. Decorative stitching shall only be allowed on the back pockets. No nylon athletic pants or sweats. Shorts shall not be shorter than three inches above the knee.
 
Jumpers & Dresses  shall be any solid color. Tights or leggings worn under jumpers and dresses can be any solid color. Jumpers and dresses shall have sleeves and not be shorter than three inches above the knee.
 
Outer Jackets & Coats shall not have insignia that is gang related, depict weapons or that displays lewd, vulgar, obscene or plainly offensive language or symbols.    All jackets and coats are not to be worn in the classroom.
 
Clothing, Accessories, and Jewelry shall not be distracting or disruptive in appearance and detrimental to the purpose or conduct of the school will not be permitted (i.e. gang-related, lewd, vulgar, obscene or offensive language or symbols). Knee high socks or thigh high socks should be a solid color. Wallets must not have chains. Earrings, for safety purposes, may not be hooped or hanging down. Make-up is not to be worn and only clear lip balm is acceptable. Tattoos and Acrylic nails are not allowed. 
 
Shoes shall  include athletic shoes, sandals, or closed-toed, closed-heeled shoes. All heels must be one inch or less. “Wheelies” and “flip-flops” will not be allowed.   Sandals must have a strap on the back and shoes must be laced and tied properly.
 
Belts  shall not be gang related (no initials on belt buckles) nor have vulgar words or symbols. Belt shall not hang down but must be safely tucked in belt loops.   
 
Hats, caps, and sunglasses   shall not have logos and are not to be worn in the building. Bandanas are not permitted. Hats and caps can not be worn in the building and should be centered properly on the head with the brim facing forward. 
 
Hair must be neat and well groomed at all times. No spiked hair, shaved lines or shaved designs are allowed. Unconventional or unusual hair color (such as green, blue, purple, pink etc.) is prohibited. Hairstyles or fads that interfere with the learning process, cause a disruption of the educational environment, or be a health and safety hazard are prohibited.
 
No opt-outs to the dress code will be allowed except for religious or medical/disability reasons or uniforms of nationally recognized organizations (i.e. Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc.).
 
Guidelines  All clothing must be properly fitted. Oversized, baggy pockets or improperly fitted clothing will not be allowed. Clothing must be in good repair without holes and tears. Bottoms must be worn on the waist, belted or not; “sagging” is prohibited. 
 
Attire Exception Days such as dress down day or picture day students may wear other attire; however attire must still be properly fitted and shall not have insignia that is gang related or that displays lewd, vulgar, obscene, weapons or plainly offensive language or symbols.
 

Where to Purchase All clothing stores including Goodwill and Stepping Stones. Long and short sleeve T-shirts, pull-over hooded and crew neck sweatshirts, with our school insignia, will be available from our school.
