Greeting GHMS Families:
We are winding down our 3rd quarter and heading toward Spring Break. Please remind your child that next week is indeed an academic work week with students taking their 3rd quarter district CRT tests.
A few announcements:
Tuesday, March 9th the Band will have a performance beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Friday, March 12th will be an Early Release Day. This will be an academic day with students preparing for the AIMS test that will be held in April.
A special thanks to the staff and students of GHMS for raising $2,000.00 to support Dylan Peters and his family. Students presented Dylan and his mother a check to help defer costs of traveling to Phoenix for treatments at a spirit and pride assembly last Friday. Tonight is GHMS night at the Arizona Sundogs game. GOOD LUCK and I hope the friends and families that choose to go to this event are the loudest at Tim’s Toyota Center.
COMMUNITY CORNER
Support our local firefighters! Central Yavapai Fire District will be hosting a Firefighter Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 13th at 8555 E. Yavapai Road-Fire Station #53. This event will cost $2.00 and be from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. For more information contact Nick Fournier 533-2550
