Student Council is currently involved in Pennies for Patients.  Pennies for patients is a program which helps benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Students, Parents, and Staff are encouraged to donate “Pennies” in efforts to raise money for cancer.  Granville Elementary has participated in this event for many years and we are proud to help raise money for those efforts.

In order to promote pennies for patients, student council members have voted on Spirit Week.  Spirit week will take place Feb. 22-26. Spirit Week will benefit “Pennies for Patients”.  Students must donate pennies or other change in order to participate in spirit week.

Monday -  Pajama Day

Tuesday -  Crazy hat day

Wednesday- Sport’s day

Thursday – Mismatch day

Friday – Disco Day

The Pennies for Patients program ends Feb. 26^th .  The class with the highest dollar amount will receive a “Pasta for Pennies” lunch sponsored by the Olive Garden.  The lunch will take place in February or March.
