Bradshaw Mountain Middle School (Grades 6-8) is located in a tranquil rural setting in Dewey, Arizona on 20 acres with well-developed facilities and an effective middle school concept in place.
Bradshaw students focus their energies through a variety of academic, exploratory, and extra-curricular activities. Regular and advanced classes in math and English, and courses in fine and performing arts, technology, and physical education all expand the students' learning world.
The Bradshaw Mountain Middle School teachers work as a team to build small social and learning communities within the larger school. This eases the transition from elementary school and prepares the students for high school. Teachers also work together to evaluate and monitor each student's growth and progress.
Activities such as the Renaissance Program, National Junior Honor Society, Reading Counts, Club Fridays, and a statewide recognized student council round out the school and its offerings. Community involvement is also an important part of the BMMS experience: students and school partnerships include the SITE Council, the PTSO, The Bradshaw Lions, and the Villages at Quailwood. |
