MIddle school is not only a transition period for students, it's also a time of transition for parents as well. I like to call the middle school years, grades 6, 7, and 8.....the "whitewater in the river of life!" This is a time of emotional , social and physical changes for students, which directly influences the families and school.
We hope to provide valuable information for you, no matter the age of you middle school child, and together, we will successfully navigate this whitewater.
Your child is growing and changing, and you can see their focus shifting from their family to their friends. As middle schoolers, become more independent and socially active, being a parent becomes more complicated, and often times more difficult.
During these middle school years, it's very important to stay involved in your child's life. You must make sure that your child is doing well in school, and that they're making good choices. More now than ever, your child needs your guidance, encouragement, love, and understanding.
