| Kindergarten Registration 09-10
HUMBOLDT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
2009-10 Kindergarten Registration
2009-10 Registración de su Niño/Niña para el Kinder
The Humboldt Unified School District elementary schools - Coyote Springs (759-4300), Granville (759-4800), Humboldt (759-4400), Lake Valley (759-4200), Liberty Traditional (759-4500) and Mountain View (759-4700) - are conducting spring kindergarten registration for the 2009-10 school year.
School offices will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily for registration, but please call first for an appointment.
Parents should bring to registration a certified birth certificate, a copy of the child’s immunization record, and documentation showing proof of current residence. Registering upcoming kindergartners at this time will provide parents with hand-outs and other useful information that will help their children prepare for kindergarten. Children registering for kindergarten should be 5 years of age by August 31, 2009.
Please visit your school office as soon as possible to register your kindergarten student. The Humboldt Unified School District welcomes our newest students and looks forward to a long and productive relationship with all of the families within our educational community.
“Si no habla inglés, por favor llame a Mary al (928) 759-4000 o a Rosie al (928) 759-4200 para más información sobre la registración de su niño/niña para el kinder.”

| TAX CREDIT DONATIONS TO HUMBOLDT UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
Our community’s spirit of giving shines even through these challenging economic times. Humboldt Unified School District’s final calculations indicate that the tax credit donations for 2008 surpassed those in 2007 by $13,575.92!! ($153,025.37 in 2008 compared to $139,452.45 in 2007). We want to take this opportunity to express appreciation to each and every donor for supporting our students and schools. Many of the extracurricular programs that are sustained through the tax credit donations would not exist but for the generosity of those who contribute.
Humboldt Unified School District will manage and administer these donations in a way that will continue to promote our commitment to student excellence. Once again, our heartfelt “thank you.”
